NAMULONDO MARIAM

Date of Birth: 24th December, 2011

Mariam, from Mafubira, Chamagwa, arrived at ECM on October 19, 2022, after losing her mother to HIV. Orphaned and mistreated alongside her brother, Naika Edrine, she endured many hardships before finding refuge at the orphanage. Despite her past struggles, she remains resilient and hopeful, determined to build a better future for herself.

With a deep passion for art, especially painting, Mariam uses creativity as an outlet for self-expression and healing. She also enjoys playing soccer, showcasing her athletic side. Her dream is to become a nurse, a profession that reflects her compassion and desire to help others. Her favorite meal is matoke with groundnut sauce, and her best color is green, symbolizing growth and new beginnings.
