Isabirye, from Nawandala, arrived at ECM on December 10, 2023, after facing the loss of both parents, making him a total orphan. He is also the younger brother of twins who are at the orphanage with him. Due to their guardian’s inability to care for them, Isabirye and his twin sister were forced to stop schooling, highlighting the struggles they have faced at such a young age.

Despite these challenges, Isabirye is a talkative and social child, finding joy in interacting with others and engaging in the simple pleasures of childhood. His dream is to become a soldier, driven by his desire to protect and serve others. Isabirye’s story is a powerful reminder of the resilience and hope children possess, even in the face of adversity. His favorite meal is rice and beans, and his best color is green, symbolizing his energy and hope for the future.
