Date of Birth: 26th December, 2012

Mutesi, from Mafubira, Chamagwa, arrived at ECM on July 11, 2022, after facing a difficult life due to her parents’ struggles with alcoholism. Unable to provide proper care, Mutesi was left in a vulnerable situation, but she found refuge at the orphanage, where she is cared for alongside her little sister, Mutesi Amarine. Despite the hardships she has faced, Mutesi remains hopeful and determined for the future.

Her dream is to become a fashion designer, driven by her creativity and desire to express herself through art. In her free time, Mutesi enjoys playing netball, which helps her stay active and connect with her peers. She also has a talent for hairdressing and enjoys styling the hair of her friends, demonstrating her generosity and skill. Mutesi’s story is a testament to resilience, and she is focused on creating a better future for herself and her sister. Her favorite meal is beans and rice, and her best color is pink, symbolizing her creativity and compassion.
